Reached the village of Bruzzella, in the Muggio Valley, we begin to walk in Zöch following the road to the East. When we reach the altitude of 685 meters, we leave the road and start climbing slowly towards Alpe Loasa. Then we continue on a dirt road to the town of Cavazzo and shortly we reach the boundary at 1244 meters.
Here we decide to climb directly to the summit of Mount Bisbino following the path to the south, but we soon realize that it was not a good idea since the path is badly maintained and full of fallen firs to climb over.
Finally at the top we find a sanctuary dedicated to the Blessed Virgin and unfortunately a restaurant that can be reached by car from the Italian side.
We descend, this time to the south, up to the altitude of 1250 meters where, as hoped, we find the "Cavalli del Bisbino".
This herd of Haflinger horses (Avelignese) has become semi-wild after the death of the master and for some time has wandered in the wild on the slopes of the Bisbino.
Now these horses belong to the Associazione Cavalli del Bisbino and will be transferred to the slopes of Monte Generoso where they will be able to find wider pastures.
Instead we return to Cavazzo along the path that points to the north and descend to Bruzella directly passing by the localities of Croce and Zöch, where there is the oratory of Santa Maria di Loreto and where you can also admire the entire Valle di Muggio Superiore.
